Surface Preparation and Coating Application Standards and Specifications
Through CCS membership with SSPC (Society of Protective Coatings) and NACE (North American Corrosion Engineers) company personnel are able to access all specifications and are able to provide these to customers when desired.
Coating System Specifiers
CCS has three individuals that have been certified, as per SSPC-C1 & C2 for Coating System Specifying. When assistance is required to identify and articulate coating system requirements these individuals and their trade knowledge can a valuable guide.
Lead Abatement
The SSPC-C3 certified personnel have created a reference binder that incorporates lead abatement regulations from the Canadian Environmental Protection Act (CEPA), British Columbia Environmental Management Act (BCEMA), WorkSafe BC (WSBC), the Society for Protective Coatings (SSPC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Association (OSHA). Having all the relevant documents in one location saves a great deal of time when researching job specific requirements.
Environmental Containment Design
With the ever increasing demands of WSBC, OSHA and asset owners aware of environmental compliance responsibilities, containment is becoming a necessary requirement of the majority of industrial and marine contracts.
With well over 100 containments designed and erected for environmental control CCS has the experience to assist in the environmental design requirements to meet the demands of any project.
