CCS Awarded Second Subcontract by Canadian Maritime Engineers (CME) at Victoria Dry Dock on MV Quinsam
Based on Certified Coating Specialists Inc. on time and professional performance on the first subcontract granted by CME to CCS, Canadian Maritime is looking forward to working with Certified Coatings Specialists in the months and probably years ahead.
The work required of CCS is the abatement, prep and coating application.
In order to meet the owner’s, (BC Ferries) and Canadian Maritime Engineers safety, environmental and quality control requirements, Work safe BC, OSHA, Canadian Environment Act, Canadian Fisheries Act, Best Practices Guideline for in Dry Dock lead abatement, SSPC and Certified Coating Specialists in-house corporate requirements, over 1,000 pages of targeted information was produced in less than 5 days.
CCS’s contract and CME’s retro fit work, is expected to be accomplished over the coming months.
