Environmental Stewardship Policy

Our Environmental Stewardship Policy enforces the importance of our industry doing its part in promoting awareness and protection of the environment.

On June 18 2009, the federal government enacted unprecedented legislation, the Environmental Enforcement Act, significantly increasing the potential penalties faced by businesses and individuals convicted of an environmental offense. This legislation grants the courts power to impose fines as great as $6 million dollars. These current changes support the values and goals CCS has endeavored to achieve since its inception. Striving to build upon this legacy as the industry leader in environmental consciousness, CCS continues to minimize the environmental impact associated with the application of coatings, while still meeting the needs and objectives of its clients, and the Canadian Environmental Protection Act through our Lead Abatement Program and Steel Grit Recycler services.

Our commitment begins with the client and appropriate regulatory agencies to ensure that safe work strategies and procedures are developed and applied to protect our environment. The end goal of CCS is to always provide each client with quality workmanship delivered in an environmentally safe and efficient manner.
