COR Certification

Cathy Lange, Executive Director of CSABC presenting the COR Certificate to Byran Place, CCS President
The Construction Safety Association (CSA) provides safety training, programs, resources and best practices to reduce human and capital costs of workplace injuries.
COR is an initiative that recognizes and rewards employers who go beyond the legal requirements of the Workers Compensation Act and the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation by taking a best practices approach to implementing health, safety, and return to work programs.
Certified Coating Specialists Inc is the first Industrial & Marine Painting Contractor in BC to achieve COR Certification. Having earned this type of certification reinforces the ongoing commitment of staff to each other and their clients in maintaining adequate equipment, work procedures, and proper training and education of all CCS employees. A commitment CCS has long been known for.
“We are excited to add Certified Coating Specialists to the growing list of COR certified companies across BC. They have demonstrated their commitment to providing a safer and healthier work environment for their employees and we are proud to recognize them for this.”
Cathy Lange, CSABC Executive Director
